Appointed Chairman in 2024 having previously held the role of CEO since 2001. Previous to that, Mark held the post of General Manager of Johnson & Perrott Fleet. Mark is a graduate of Law at UCC and Harvard Business School. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Mark currently sits on the Board of Cork Chamber of Commerce and on the Advisory Board at the National Maritime College of Ireland. He was previously a member of Governing Body and Chair of the Finance Committee of Cork Institute of Technology.
Appointed as CEO in 2024, George joined Johnson & Perrott in 2013 from Windsor Motor Group to take up the new role of Managing Director of Motor Dealerships and has since made a huge contribution to the development of the Motor Dealership Division including the relocation of our very successful JLR and Volvo businesses to the new Bishopstown campus.
Philip Whitaker retired as Dealer Principal in May 2013 after 45 years of continued service to the company. He has made immense contribution in the establishment of the Douglas Road dealership and the commencement of trading at the dealership in Mahonpoint.
Honor is a native of Cork City and recently retired from her role as Managing Partner of Deloitte in Cork. Prior to this, Honor graduated in Commerce at UCC, qualified as a Chartered Accountant and worked with Arthur Andersen and KPMG until 2007. In addition to her focus on her young family, Honor is a member of the Board of Munster Rugby, a director of Cork ARC Cancer Support House and a director of the Cork University Foundation – the philanthropic arm of UCC. She is also a fan of all things rugby. .
Richard graduated from UCC with a business degree and subsequently from Nottingham Trent University with a Master’s Degree in Law. He qualified as a solicitor in 1991 and was appointed a partner at RDJ in 1995, subsequently becoming Head of Litigation. In 2012 he was appointed Managing Partner of the firm and has now completed his third term in this role. Outside of RDJ, Richard is a Director of the Cork University Hospital Charity and of the Glucksman Gallery at UCC. He is also Chair of the Barryscourt Trust and a member of the Board of Management of An Scoil Nasiunta an Chroi Naofa.
Pat Creed is the most recent addition to the Board, appointed as Non-Executive Director in June 2022. Pat previously worked with Bank of Ireland having served as its Managing Director for 10 years and Chairman for 2 years. He also served on the Boards of Bank of Ireland Business Banking and Bank of Ireland Business Banking UK. In addition to his experience with the Bank, Pat has also served on the board of Rásaíocht Con Éireann. Having lived in Dublin for many years, Pat now lives in his native Clonmel and does consultancy in addition to his non-executive roles.
Donagh Barry was appointed as Financial Director in June 2013, in addition to his responsibilities as Company Secretary. He was appointed CFO in March 2009. Prior to this role Donagh worked as Finance Manager in Johnson & Perrott's leasing division from 1997 to 2007, and then was appointed as Group Financial Controller in 2008.
