Ready for the road to #Ukraine - Patrick O Donovan & Tony McKennedy collecting a van from our CEO Mark Whitaker on behalf of National Truck & Van Rental.

Patrick & Tony shall soon be heading out to assist with the #ukrainecrisisappeal to deliver some much needed #HumanitarianAid to those who need it most. The speed in getting everything together for this journey has clearly demonstrated to us, just how much support there is within our #community and the overwhelming desire to help the people of Ukraine. We wish Patrick and Tony safe travels and hope that this gesture helps ease a little of the struggle of #UkrainianRefugees

Speaking about the gathering of supplies, Patrick O Donovan said: "This van could have been filled five times over with the generosity of everybody supporting this trip. The plan is to go to the border of #Poland where items shall be given out to any that need them. Items include phone cables, children's food, nappies, electrical equipment, backpacks, disposable aprons, hats, gloves etc. All monies donated will be given directly to the border village volunteers to buy additional essentials."
